Faith No More – Motherfucker (J G Thirwell Remix) (2014)

I need to find some context for this. All of a sudden, all these years after Sol Invictus, the lead single gets a bizarre and honestly, awful (lol) remix by the legendary J G Thirwell. I’m not sure what this is or what it is trying to achieve, but the vocal lines from “Motherfucker” seem shoehorned into some bombastic piece of music that is a thousand miles away from any related vibe. Honestly, I’m confused. Perhaps that is the intention.

2022 edit: OK so apparently the 7″ single version of Motherfucker had this as the B-side, and it seems a random digital release happened towards the arse end of last year. Nothing to get excited about. Oh well.
