Maceo Plex – Conjure Infinity (2015)

This was one of those little gems that I accidentally discovered via Spotify. Maceo Plex’s Conjure Infinity EP/single seems to tread the line between deep house the more hypnotic stylings of the pystrance genre. Throw over some dark electronic passages and you’ve got yourself a recipe for success. The two tracks almost meld as one (the second may even be a re-working or a remix? What do I know…) and have a chilled, subliminal feel despite being driving and a bit sinister. Good stuff!
