Future Of The Left – Human Death (2013)

It’s clear that there has always been a streak of influence from Steve Albini in this band’s work (the man also produced an album by Falko’s previous band) but “Prescriptions” is a little too uncanny valley even for me. It’s a tidy song, though.

Generally, the rest of this EP is very chilled out; there are no big moments, (as in loud/abrasive), just solid songs played at a more moderate level than some of the moments on Stopping Your Brain… for example.
