Electro Hippies – Play Fast Or Die (1986/1989)

Does exactly what it says on the tin. What we got here is the Electro Hippies side of the 1986 split with Generic (top band name) reissued with phresh Jeff Walker art a la scum and spread to the far corners of this disgusting world by Jeff and Bill’s Earache records imprint / sublabel, Necrotic Records.

As for the music, Electro Hippies are pure crust punk chaos; far past the realm of d-beat and into the realms of proto-blastbeat annihilation. Detractors could say that things are a little “one note” and yes we are hardly reinventing the wheel here, but for 1986 this shit is fast as fuck. Silly, and great fun!
