Bad Omens – Hell Returns (2024)
Off the strength of the demos you knew that Hell Returns (the debut album from Dutch speedy blackened metal maniax Bad Omen) was gonna be a bangerooni. Production is even better than the two cassette EPs, and I think only two tracks (from memory) reprise here from the demos. All the rest are new original fuckin’ belters. Top playing across the board. The drums in particular sound really great on this one and the vokills seem extra rabid. Cronos would be proud of these guys, I reckon.
