Agathocles – If This Is Cruel What’s Vivisection Then? (1990)
Fucking oustanding early EP from the mincegore legends that are Agathocles. I’ve heard this set of songs about 4000 times by now, but honestly, when they come across this well, it doesn’t really matter all that much. Production-wise, things are pretty raw but the sound is very warm and it really packs a punch. The session is clear enough that you can hear everything that is going on, whilst also not treading absolutely anywhere near a “clean” sound! Essential mincecore!
