Sanguine Relice – Vampyric Will (2015)

You can say a lot of things about “raw” black metal but it is hard to argue with the fact that the atmosphere some of these “less is more” projects have is second to none. Vampyric Will is in a similar boat. Does it sound like complete shit? Yes. Do the drums sound like the same beat played over and over and over on a drum machine made out of cardboard? Yes. But, goddamn, the feeling this shit conjures up is so fucking good.

After a while I admit it does all start to blur together, but as far as raw projects go, this is well worth checking out.
