Darkthrone – Land Of Frost (1988)

Very early Darkthrone album that is quite endearing to listen to. It’s really great to hear these guys marry all these styles and influences together. We have vocals that wouldn’t be out of place on a Blasphemy record over the top of melodic riffs that are suspicously close to a certain Metallica track that will remain nameless LOL

They were just kids at this point so I won’t be too harsh. It’s a fun listen, however, especially for those interested in the very gestation of this now legendary act.
