Lividity – …Til Only The Sick Remain (2002)

Great tunes but they really suffer due to the muted and rounded production. The drums are reduced to a series of clicks and clatters, the guitars are super scooped and overcompressed and the vocals just sound like burps and farts. Yes, I am fully aware that this is brutal death metal, and in another album perhaps all of the above are plus points rather than negatives, but the sound in which this record is presented sucks all impact and force out of it.
