Cannibal Corpse – The Wretched Spawn (2004)

I am constantly blown away by how consistent Corpsegrinder-era Cannibal is throughout the late 90s and early 2000s. Bands of this prolific nature tend to either run out of steam or wander off the beaten path into experiments that either haunt them or pay off in spades. Cannibal? Nah, just straight up fucking BRUTAL death metal, fam. And I’m not talking about the subgenre. I’m talking about the meat of this thing being hard as fuck; drums are intense, vocals are insane, guitar n bass riffing is fucking siiiiiiiick as fuck. 45 minutes of fucking savage carnage.
