Godflesh – Songs of Love and Hate / Love and Hate in Dub / In All Languages Compilation (2009)

Quite probably the best way these days to get your head around the Love & Hate era (with the bonus of the In All Languages DVD). I will say, as nice as it is to have Love & Hate and the In Dub session together in one set (it just kinda works), the extra DVD is cool but it’s still worth hunting down the CD version of In All Languages for all of the “rare” tracks on the second disk. No Godflesh collection is complete, IMO, without “Love is a Dog from Hell”.

For those format junkies, it’s worth noting that the vinyl version and CD versions of Love & Hate In Dub are different. As cool as it is to have Godflesh remixes on vinyl, this CD has more bang for your buck, as stuff is cut from the 12″ version.
