Swans – Forever Burned (2003)

The once (and possibly still) elusive companion piece to Various Failures. I never found much value in it myself, because I owned an original copy of The Burning World, but for a very long time, Forever Burned was like the missing puzzle piece for fans who only had Various Failures. You have to remember for a very long time, before all of these recent reissues, the only way to get a lot of Swans was on Gira’s self-released compilation albums.

Therefore, this gets a similar score to The Burning World and Love Of Life, but realistically, the original or the more recent reissues should only be of interest to collectors and completionists only.
