Impaled Nazarene – Shemhamforash (1991)

Shemhamforash has more of a death metal influence than anything else from Impaled Nazarene that I’ve heard. As always the crusty punk elements are also highly visible, but the black / war styles are in very short supply on this interesting cassette demo. Almost to reinforce my point, there are Extreme Noise Terror and Deicide covers at the end.

Production wise, thing are pretty raw (this is a cassette demo after all) but Shemhamforash is far from unlistenable.
