Eroticism – Opening Sex (2022)
Pornography goes hand in hand with terrifying synthesizers and power electronics and whilst the compositions here are thoroughly unsettling (great job!) the porno samples just seem to completely sit apart from everything else and randomly show up every now and then. Granted, there are some very choice uses of audio that have been selected, where no doubt all manner of grotesque pleasures are unfolding, but if anything it is distraction here. I’m not sure if it’s the mix or what, because this stuff usually works quite well in these circles, unfortunately this is not the case here.
