Manowar – Into Glory Ride (1983)

Manowar’s second record is a logical continuation of their first (even if the artwork is infinitely crummier). You can thank Into Glory Ride for such powerful gems as “Gloves Of Metal”, “Gates Of Valhalla” and the epic closing track, “March For Revenge”. Production is still a bit shite, but fuck if it just adds to the overall charm of this thing. It has such a glowing analogue warmth, it makes me want to go back in time like a friggin’ Terminator.

Oh, that intro sample hasn’t aged all that well, mind you.
