Swans – Saved (1989)

Side A of the 7” version has “Saved”, which if you’ve heard The Burning World then you are no doubt already in love with. Side B has “No Cruel Angel” which to be honest I don’t think I’ve ever heard before. It’s very morose and beautiful at the same time, as was a lot of the stuff released around this time. Jarboe does very little here, a few backing vocals here or there but that’s it.
