Tangerine Dream – Ricochet (1975)

A truly magical and stunning experience that is fully deserving of its reputation and legendary status. Recently I have been checking out the reissue which has the additional mixes from Steve Wilson – nothing that’s going to blow your mind with the insane differences or what have you but all the Wilson mixes that I’ve heard of TD stuff thusfar have been brilliantly done and this is of no exception. On the note of the recording itself, I’m very happy to hear small appearances from drums and guitars in these monster tracks, which gave an unexpected dimension to proceedings. Lovely!
