Phobia / $krupel – Split 7″ (2006)

You’d think this thing would show it’s age with the Bush references but it doesn’t really matter. We have two fucking killer grindcore bands head to head on one split. I’ve had this fucking 7″ for years, I keep losing it (lol) amongst the pile, but every time I break it out every few years, damn I enjoy it so much. Phobia are stalwarts of the scene, blasting away here with laser sharp precision and absurd guitar blurs making up the riffs. Great shit.

$krupel are a little bit rougher around the edges, but its still a whirlwind cacophony of total sonic grinding chaos. Everything is a little bit harsher. If listening to Phobia is like being guillotined by the sharpest most efficient blade, then $krupel is like being beheaded by a rusty chainsaw. That’s all I got haha
