Insane Clown Posse – Forgotten Freshness Vol. 1 (1995)

Wasn’t the biggest fan of the second disc so figured I’d come back and talk about the first disc because it’s also listed as a separate entry. This is a good thing, for sure. The tracks on disc one are much better – all that old school Detroit smog shit. I know I use that “Detroit smog” descriptor a lot when talking about ICP but its the best way for me to describe that style of production that they had between Carnival of Carnage up to and just before Riddlebox.

There’s some classic old school cuts here too, but also some total fuckin’ stinkers that should have stayed on the cutting room floor, such as “Willy Bubba”.
