Hatebreed – The Rise Of Brutality (2003)

The Rise Of Brutality was the first Hatebreed album I ever had. I had a dodgy copy of it and it only played the first half of the CD or so before cutting off and dying, so for many years I never ever heard the ending third of the record. Which is fine, because it is more of the same, in the nicest way possible.

That’s not to say that there aren’t some good tracks on Rise Of Brutality. Opener “Tear It Down” is great, as is “Straight To Your Face”, “Doomsayer” and “Beholder Of Justice”. Might throw down now, fuck it.
