Of Feather And Bone ‎– Sulfuric Disintegration (2020)

2020 was a good year for death metal. Its crazy to think, ten years ago when I started this site, death metal was probably my least favourite style of extreme music, I found it tired and uninspiring and the whole “brutal” thing cringed me out, despite loving goregrind etc. – turns out for many years I was just listening to the wrong death metal. Because I’m an idiot.

Anyway, Of Feather And Bone’s Sulfuric Disintegration is a grandiose yet messy masterpiece, a sound which I think is represented by the epic and complex artwork. When I say messy, I don’t mean sloppy, I mean chaotic. I love the production, I love the riff, I love everything about this. 10/10.
