Vol. 1 is easily my favourite Immortal Technique album. You can tell how young he is here, but the truth-laced venom and intelligence is entirely apparent from the word ‘go’, even if a few of his more flagrant statements haven’t aged well. Truly a stunning debut, with amazing guest spots and absolute wreckers of tracks, from the boastful opening “Creation & Destruction” to the now infamous “Dance With The Devil”. What a debut!
