Pathologist – Grinding Opus Of Forensic Medical Problems (1993)

Rounding out a trilogy of Carcass worship records that I have listened to today, is this wonderful full length from Pathologist. The production on this thing is fucking so good. Every instrument hangs perfect in the balance, without losing any of its disgusting grime or charm. Kudos on that front. Musically too, this is a solid block of old school goregrind. Brilliant. One of the best records I’ve heard in some time, and up there as a new favourite of mine. I can’t really say more than that. It’s perfect and disgusting.
