Agoraphobic Nosebleed – Bestial Machinery (2005)

Bestial Machinery is the release that blew open the world of Agoraphobic Nosebleed for me. I quickly devoured their history, which is presented here in the form of basically everything released up until the Honky Reduction LP on Relapse Records. The quality is a bit up and down, but for the most part this is relentless, unstoppable, grimy drum machine grindcore. As much as I love records such as Agorapocalypse or the split with Insect Warfare, listening back to Bestial Machinery it is a bit of a shame to see how much ANb have… well, not strayed, but thawed, over the years.
