Mucopus – Undimensional (2007)

Mucopus play thick, chunky and unwieldy death metal. There is a slam tinge to proceedings, even dare I say a smidgen of deathcore stylings in the vocals in particular, which isn’t really my thing at all.

That aside, Undimensional is a well put together record that is played and produced to a high standard. I’m just a bit unsure if the original material is inspiring enough to warrant further exploration of their work.
